The LTTA – First training activity within the project Farms’ Charm – Diversification of Entrepreneurial Activities as the Pathway to the Sustainable Farming at Rural Areas – was organized with great success in the form of an incoming training visit for five days in Vienna, Austria and served to facilitate knowledge transfer, gain new know-how in the field of agritourism and see such activities in practice. The project partner BEST was the hosting organisation of the LTTA, which was held in Vienna from 22nd May to 26th May 2023. Beside the host, 11 representatives of the other partner countries from the project consortium participated in this training activity. Participants were selected by each partner organisation and these should be from the second group, i.e. mainly trainers, teachers, extension agents, and providers of adult education in the relevant fields, as those are the ones who provide information on agro-tourism and rural tourism to farmers and small entrepreneurs in rural areas. During the training the participants had the opportunity to visit farms, adventure farms, vineyards etc.
